March 20 - Den Meeting

Dear Tiger Cubs Parents,

I hope everyone enjoyed seeing and learning about some pretty cool raptors at our pack meeting this week!  We will keep the avian theme going at our den meeting next Tuesday, March 20, at 7:00 PM in Visitation Hall.  Erin K. (Colin's mom) will be leading us in making homemade bird feeders, just in time for Spring.

Remember to keep working on those Tiger Track electives!  I want to make sure everyone is caught up on their beads and has a full Tiger Totem at the Pack Crossover Ceremony in May.  If you have lost, or still need to get from me, any of the orange, black & white achievement beads for your Tiger Totem, I will have them at the den meeting.

Upcoming Meetings & Events

Dear Tiger Cub Parents,

A special thank you to the Kappessers for planning our last Go See It to Home Depot.  We all had a great time building and racing our Home Depot cars!  If you didn't get a chance to go, Home Depot apparently hosts a free Kids Workshop on the first Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at all their stores.  This is a fun activity that you may definitely want to check out on your own.

Don't miss the next Pack Meeting this coming Wednesday, March 14th, at 7:00 PM in Visitation Hall.  Raptor Rehab will be there, along with some of their birds of prey.  It should be very interesting!

Also, we're still looking for Wolf Den leaders for next year (I'm going to remain a Tiger Den leader next year).  If you're thinking about possibly volunteering, but have some questions, please call or e-mail me!  Ideally, we'd have at least two volunteers (a den leader and an assistant den leader/s) to share the responsibilities.  So even if you know now that you won't make all the meetings, you could still be a great candidate!
