January 10 - Den Meeting

Dear Tiger Cub Parents,

Our next den meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 10th at 7:00 PM in Visitation Hall  (Cafeteria).

Ed G. (James' dad) will be planning this meeting.  We will be playing "Tell It Like It Isn't" (Achievement 4D). 

Also, please try to complete the "Looking at a Map" family activity (Achievement 2F) for the "Where I Live" unit in the Tiger Handbook.

Here are some other important dates to remember:

• Jan 17 - Go See It to WLKY.  6:45 - 7:30 PM.
• Jan 20 - Pinewood Derby Testing and Weigh-In.  7:00 - 8:00 PM.
• Jan 21 - Pinewood Derby.  8:00 AM - 12:30 PM.  Tigers check in at 10:15 AM.

January 17 - Go See It: WLKY

Dear Tiger Cub Parents,

I have scheduled our Go See It for January. We will be visiting WLKY Television on Tuesday, January 17th at 6:45 PM until 7:30 PM.  The television station is located at 1918 Mellwood Avenue (top of the hill behind Mom’s Music - the old Tumbleweed).   Please arrive on time or a little early, because once we leave for the studio tour, it will be hard to gain access to enter the building.  Please park in the visitor spots outside the gate or along the front drive (away from helicopter pad) and enter through the front doors to the Lobby.  Once we all arrive, we will meet Jay Cardosi in the news studio.
